Although I’m wearing grey Adidas Originals trainers, I absolutely love to tot around in heels and look cute, but there comes point when you look a hot mess when running errands. I’m sure we’ve all been there when we put on the comfiest clothes that include wearing the baggiest t-shirt, the pink joggers, with black and sliders, paired with fuzzy socks. Typing this makes me cringe, but let’s face it, we’ve all done it. Now I’ve decided to make an effort to look decent when running errands. I’m sure you are wondering why, if you’re comfortable.
I once bumped into an old primary school friend, who consistently asked me if everything was ok for five minutes straight with a genuinely concerned look on her face. At that point, I realised that my errand clothes resembled someone who ran out their apartment blindfolded doing a dare on a hen do.
This outfit is really easy and takes less than five mins to put on. I actually wore this outfit to a friend’s 30th birthday basketball event. You know you are winning at life when your errands outfit can be worn out and you get compliments instead of concerned faces.
As we are getting older, we have more errands to run so please make sure you look somewhat fly when you are doing it because you just never ever know who you’ll bump into that day.
This outfit consists of a simple grey jersey maxi dress, with a white boxy crop top, a pair of Quay sunglasses to hide my makeup free face; a necklace for a bit of bling, and a pair of grey Adidas Originals Trainers you can get here. By the way, found these trainers in the kids section because I’m a size 5. The closest style they have in adults are these.
