Coachella 2017 has been amazing so far. I’ve been lucky enough to experience so many artists (with the help of Snapchat.) I’m sure I’m not the only one that was at Coachella in spirit. If I were to attend this year then, this would be my ensemble. I know this is very different for me and it’s not my usual style, but It’s always fun to be able to experiment with other styles. Not everyday heels, and dining in Mayfair or Chelsea. Would you believe me if I told you that this is my first time ever that I’ve bought trainers that weren’t for the purpose of working out?
Although I attended Coachella in spirit, my outfit was very much in the physical. To start this wouldn’t be a post from Wande if a crop top wasn’t included. This black crop top is super old from ASOS, but you can get these options here, here, and here. I was in dire need of a new leather jacket and only liked the ones from French Connection. Although this black leather jacket from French Connection was calling my name, I opted for this one due to the snug fit.
Now, this denim skirt with mesh detail is definitely the star of the show and something unusual for me to wear. I picked this up in a small so the mesh can grace the floor as I walk. There is a denim and pink mesh option too, but it wasn’t the right shade of pink for me.
This black faux leather bag tied into the look quite nicely and still featured my usual style choice, a tote bag. But now looking at the outfit I think a cute little backbag or this rucksack, would have tied the look together much better, and I’d look like an actual festival goer. Hey, you can’t win them all I guess.
Do I even need to talk about the trainers? I opted for all black vans because everyone seems to have the Black and white vans. It kept the outfit quite simple, and still a bit of me, as I do love a solid colour.
To complete the look, you can never go wrong with a pair of Quay Australia sunglasses.
So what do you think? Would you wear this to a festival?
