With summer almost here despite the few rainy days we are currently experiencing, it’s safe to say that it’s festival season has officially begun. Festival hairstyles are a fun way to get creative with your hair with minimal effort. I’ve teamed up with ghd to try their new straighteners from their Azores collection. It takes inspiration from the luxurious paradise of Azores, a small island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. The straighteners come in 3 limited edition pearlescent shade, which are serene pearl (pictures below), Atlantic jade, and marine allure. The ghd azores straighteners are much lighter and the best part is that if it’s been on for 30 mins it switches itself off. Not to mention, it also comes with a matching heat resistance bag so it’s just perfect for your summer travels.
I used the straighteners to create two festival hairstyles. The first is using the straighteners to create light bouncy curls which I’ve accessorised with a cute flower head piece. If you are the kind of girl who likes to tuck their hair away but still look stylish, then keep reading. For the second hairstyle, I’ve pinned all my hair back and done a huge plait from ear to ear. To help frame my face, I’ve left a few strands of hair out, and curled them.
There’s a few festivals that I’ve got lined up this summer so follow me on snapchat @wandesworld to keep up with my daily life.
Which hairstyle are you most like rocking this festival season?
