April is always an awkward month. I never know what kind of coat to wear. It’s too hot to continue to wear my winter coat because technically it’s spring, and I’m not able to wear something super light because some days it’s super warm, and the next….hailstones. OK, that’s a slight exaggeration…but the rain has been so heavy it often wakes me up from my sleep.
Before I starting prancing around in Sping-inspired outfits, I thought I’d squeeze in this transitional piece that I got from Warehouse. It’s a grey furry, lightweight, cocoon-like coat that keeps me warm in those ghastly winds, but cool in the peaking sun.
These images were taken before I went away to Nigeria when I was just half a stone away from my goal weight. With aunties constantly telling me that leaves are not food, and feeding my Jellof rice for breakfast I’m now left with more weight than I needed to shift to begin with! *sigh*
Lastly, if you are reading this, I thought I’d let you know that I’m on Snapchat (@wandesworld) so you can see what I’m up to on a daily basis, and join me on this health kick that I’m on because let’s face it summer is almost here.
