There’s been so much going on in my life that I’ve actually not been able to keep up with it. It’s the month of Christmas and we are getting ready in the run up to it, although it’s been quite the opposite for me.
The last few weeks have been the worst. If your are not sure what’s been happening then perhaps this post and this vlog I made here shall enlighten you. We’ve spent the summer in nd out of court and now we’ve received the final verdict from the courts regarding my sweetheart’s case and it’s not good news. The verdict resulted in Michael leaving the country with no known date of his return. Considering this whole situation is no fault of his own, it’s heartbreaking. Suddenly I’m in a long-distance relationship, which is something that I never planned to do. EVER. However love causes you to do crazy things for each other.
Since Michael had to leave so abruptly we decided to spend our last dinner together at our favourite restaurant Blue Elephant, where it all started for us.
It’s crazy how we went from planning Christmas with my family in the UK, to discuss best times to skype each other, and worst of all spending time apart during the festivities.
The first week had me crying every day, like why me. However daily skyping, whatsapping, and talking about trips to visit him have kept the tears at bay.
To keep my mind at ease, I’ve been encouraged to make videos and vlogs again. I’m not doing vlogmas this year, however, I will be vlogging over on my channel for you (and Michael) to see what we’ve been up to.
If you’ve got any tips for a long distance relationship, then please do let me know as I’ll need all the advice.
