In my latest favourites video, I unashamedly mention my desire to be part of the “Eyebrows on fleek” gang, but no matter how blended my concealer is, I’m still far from initiation. I’ve stayed loyal to my MAC Stud pencil as well as the HD Brow kit, but my beloved products just weren’t giving me the effect I desired.
Thanks to serendipity, a solution appeared in the form of the Eyelure Eyebrow palette in Dark Brown just days later. I was apprehensive about the waxy consistency but gave it a go anyway. Thankfully, it glides on with ease, and gives my brows the look I was going for in a matter of seconds: dark, detailed, and defined brows. I followed this up with finishing powder to keep everything in place and ensure there was no movement.
I also tried the Eyelure Tame and Define Wax pencil. Now, don’t do what I did: apply it after you’ve done your brows (ah my blonde moments again) because it will ruin your beautiful masterpiece. I’ve learned the hard way that it’s best to use the wax pencil BEFORE you add any products to the brows (plus it keeps those stray and wondering brow hairs in place).
Lastly, I’ve been all about fabulous lashes of late, and the Eyelure Definition 123 Lashes are the perfect-going-out-I must-look-extra-fab kinda lashes. They create a dramatic finish which make my eyes gleam whilst looking natural.
