CHOOSING THE RIGHT MASCARA TO BLEND WITH YOUR FALSE LASHES

Mascara! Where do I begin? There are tons on the market, but only a few that do what they say they do. There isn’t a specific type of mascara that blends your mascara with natural lashes. However, there are a few pointers that I think make your lashes look more realistic.

We all know the eyeliner trick – where you do a winged liner, and use that the cover the band of your lashes. I’ve come to realize that there is an art to blending your fake lashes together with real lashes.

Step 1: Mascara Type

ALWAYS use a lengthening mascara, that is fairly new. The more product on the lashes, the more you can maneuver where you want your lashes to go. The less product on your lashes, this will make your lashes brittle,  stiff, and difficult to manipulate. This step is actually paramount, because all other types, e.g. volumising etc., have a different wand. If you want more volume in your lashes, get false lashes with that ability.  Always use a lengthening mascara. Not only will it help to separate your lashes, but will help add length to your lashes to blend in the length of the false lashes.
