WANDE WEEKLY: BIRTHDAY EDITION: TATE MODERN, GILGAMESH RESTAURANT, AFROBEATS CARNIVAL 2013
Birthdays Birthdays, it was mine last week. I’m so thankful for another year. This year has been amazing, more than I could ever imagine. The support from my friends and family have been amazing! Last Saturday was my birthday and I went to the Tate Modern, as I love looking at art, and discovering new artists and paintings considering that I’m not an artist, but I love and appreciate art.
The painting below was so inspirationsal to me. It was a sign of being bold, strong, free. The connection I felt was if a story of my life experiences over the last year had been summed up in this painting.

After the being completely inspired by the art at Tate Mordern, I headed down to the Pan-Asian Restaurant Gilgamesh with my closests of friends, for their weekend taster menu. Delicious!

I truly celebrated my birthday in true african style by heading to the Afrobeats Festival in Indigo O2 on Sunday 27th October. The event was headline by Ghana’s R2Bees, and I was lucky enough to be invited by the organisers so thank you.

Bumped into no other than Westwood

Wow this dude’s body is life. Can someone fan me please?

Thank you for all the birthday wishes
