HOW I LOST WEIGHT….
Many of you have asked how I have managed to lose weight and keep it off. Another question I got was what was I eating during Insanity? I did a portion controlled diet called Body Chef.


Ok let me tell you a little bit about Body Chef 


Body Chef is a Fresh Food Meal Plan Delivered to your door. It’s calorie controlled with customized fresh foods to suit your every need whether you’re on a low carb plan, Low GI plan, Detox Plan etc. 

In addition you can then pick as many food exclusions as you like at no extra cost. 

Now to be honest I never really thought that I ate badly, until I tried the Body Chef diet. 
In all honesty, I wouldn’t say it was a proper diet per say, I’d say it’s a portion controlled diet, which I think everyone should do.
As I am a vegetarian, I did the vegetarian plan which contained natural plan proteins and fibre rich meals. There is a choice between  two plans, either 1200 calories or 1600 calories. I chose to do the 1200, as it’s recommended for my weight loss.

Packaging


The food is packaged in a polystyrene box with ice in it, which is great as it keeps the food cool for ages. Sometimes I get home late, and it’s nice to find the foods are still cool. In regards to delivery they ask you for a safe place to leave it, and delivery was every 3 to 4 days with each meal freshly prepared.


Food Plan

In each delivery contains a food plan for what you’re supposed to eat for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

The best thing about Body Chef is it has all your fruit and vegetable in the package, so all you actually need to buy is milk and juice! Great if you’ve got a hectic lifestyle, or spend a lot of your time eating out in restaurants.

Overall I don’t have a bad thing to say about this diet, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I did the diet for 28 days just to have an idea of the size of food that I should be eating. If you’re someone who’s not sure what you should or shouldn’t eat, I would definitely recommend it.

I was pretty full most of the time! What surprised me the most was that I was allowed to have a dessert everyday, and still be within my 1200 calorie target. Now if that’s not amazing, I don’t know what is!


It works out at £17.98 a day so pretty much the cost of eating out for dinner, or just put yourself on a spending ban. They also offer a 3 day trial, 5 days, and 7 days, I just continued mine for 3 weeks.
