Ok call me crazy but I have been a spa virgin up until Tuesday when I was invited to the prestigious Sanctuary Spa skin care launch. When I arrive I have to admit I was slightly confused, as I was at the shop front and didn’t see anyone. I thought oh my gosh did I get the days confused? A young lady came and asked if I am there for the launch, and guided me in the right direction.

I was greeted my the lovely PR ladies, and escorted to the lounge where are I met familiar beauty bloggers. We all were offered some nibbles, and drinks.

We were then introduced to the skin care range, which I got to say I was most impressed with the “Facial-in-a-box” as it was described as taking a Sanctuary Spa Therapist home with you.

After this those that had a 7:30 appointment were taken to their treatment rooms where a therapist would perform a facial, a neck, hand and feet massage, again I was a virgin up until this point because I have always bought the necessary products and done these myself.

It felt like a maze with all the stairs we climbed to get to the right floor! Once found we were partnered up with our therapist, we were all taken to individual treatment rooms.

My Therapist name was Rochelle, a lovely, polite, and soft spoken young lady. I told her I had never been to a spa before, and she said I hope that you enjoy your experience here today. The rooms was lovely and looked very peaceful with dim lighting, and very soothing music.

The facial was amazing and I enjoyed every moment of it, I was giving a pamphlet of the facial products used. I thought…Wow this is what I have been missing! So thanks to The Sanctuary Spa I am now a Spa Junkie, and will have loads more post about my experience at spas.

Shortly after my facial I was given a tour of and I have got to say I was amazed because when you enter the shop from you would never believe that all that is behind it. If I remember correctly there is 4 floors, with swimming pools, jacuzzis all dotted around. We were also shown the changing rooms and there were products for hair, blow dryers and straighteners!

I can definitely say that if you visit The Sanctuary Spa you will need your bikini and flip flops and that’s it!

Overall my experience was amazing, and I will be visiting shortly. I was given a goodie bag with the new products which I will be trialling and testing soon.

11/10 for the experience

I must admit though I haven’t had a facial yet but will be next week Saturday at a spa on New Bond Street. When you get a massage, you are going to drift off to heaven. Trust me!!!
