Since I had a chance to attend the TRESemme Press Day, I want to introduce the range to you properly!

TRESemmé announced a new range to protect and preserve colour treated hair, helping retain colour for up to 40 washes offering salon quality protection against fade.
This seemed too good to be true –  40 washes and no colour fade? I will definitely be reviewing this!

The new Colour Revitalise shampoo and conditioner is upgraded and reformulated with Advanced Colour Lock Technology, specifically designed to tackle the issue of colour fade, which helps to keep coloured hair for longer.

Apparently, many consumers believe the sun and UV rays are to blame for their fading colour, however the number one cause of fading colour is actually washing your hair (who would have thought?). So TRESemmé’s products forms a barrier around the hair, stopping as many colour molecules escaping from the hair shaft than would be lost during a normal wash.  The result…colour stays fresher and more vibrant for up to 40 washes.

Enriched with extracts of green tea, rosemary and sunflower, TRESemmé Colour Revitalise Shampoo with unique Advance Colour Lock Technology gently cleanses without stripping or drying the hair while helping to add shine and manageability, and preparing hair for optimal colour retention.

Follow with Colour Revitalise Conditioner: This also contains extracts of green tea, rosemary and sunflower which has de-tangling and restoring properties.  It also seals the cuticle after washing to lock in colour particles. The conditioner leaves hair feeling softer, shinier and more manageable.

The last step in this unique new range is the Colour Revitalise Treatment Masque.  Used at least once a week, this deep treatment soaks dehydrated hair with moisture to restore suppleness, strength and vitality; it leaves it with a healthy looking shine – TRESemmé claims this is the holy grail of all hair needs.  The treatment masque can be used once a week, or more often depending on the condition of the hair.

Now on to the next range. It’s perfect for those super busy ladies who don’t have the time to wash their hair! If this is you then read closely as this is the range for you by the sounds of it.

This range is called Instant Refresh, it contains 2 shampoo products. Now I haven’t yet come across a product like this, I think the idea of it is cool (but weird at the same time). Anywho ,before I blabber away lol.

The shampoos are called Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo and Instant Refresh Waterless Foam Shampoo, I guess it’s a big giveaway in their names as to why they’re instant: No water needed!!

Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo

This product is for normal to oily hair that is fine and greasy; it removes oil and odour without using water or taking too much time. Personally I don’t think this product is ideal for women of colour because we need our hair to have moisture (but not black magic hair grease – none of that gunk).
Price: £4.29

Instant Refresh Waterless Foam

It provides a way to have that just washed, salon feel! The first of its kind, this moisturising foam shampoo revives lack lustre tresses and cleans away 76%* of oil, without water.  Containing witch hazel, a natural cleanser and moisturising aloe vera to replenish frizzy lengths, its a light foam that claims to clean hair from root to tip without any drying effects, helping to leave hair feeling clean, fresh and salon ready.

24 Dramatic Volume Hour Body Blow dry Lotion

Firstly wow what a name, this has got to be  the longest name for a hair product I have come across. Any who This product aims to give the hair heat protection with long lasting hold, this is due to the new Volume Control Complex.  It also has advanced styling resins and conditioning properties, this new formulation resists humidity. Dramatic Volume Body Blow Dry Lotion helps to eliminate ‘flyaways’. I will most definitely be review this product in the future, so stay tuned for the review.
Last but not least its 2 products from their styling range which I have to say I am excited about because I use their Extra Holding Hairspray, which I cant complain about, I will admit it did need improvement.
Price: £5.39

Superior Hold with Touchable Feel

This is a major improvement from their other holding hairspray because its non sticky and is actually touchable(corny I know) with flexible movement, It will almost like having no product in my hair.  24 hour humidity resistance helps support any style.
New Ultimate Hold Hairspray with Platinum Shine is the strongest level of hold with an ultra shiny, yet non sticky finish.  A fast drying, micro fine spray offers total coverage yet hair will be able to move so won’t feel stuck into place.
I am most pleased with the Holding sprays from TRESemmé, they really work like a charm, and I would most definitely recommend them.
 Price: £4.29
All the products from this range will be available form June at Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s.
