Red and pink is all the rage right now and quite frankly, I’m obsessed. Remember when I went through the crop top phase? I believe it’s about to happen again, where I’m just constantly in these colours. I thought it would be a good idea to write about how to wear red and pink together this season since it is a trend at the moment. I adore how the bright reds get balanced out by the soft rose tones.
The colours complement each other seamlessly. I thought I’d offer 3 simple points about the red and pink pairing.
- Firstly, if you are going to incorporate a third colour, let it be white, or cream. It keeps the outfit very light and easy on the eye. black will distract from the red, and make the pink look out of place.
- Secondly, find the right shade of pink. Blush and baby pinks work very well. Stay clear from hot pink or fuschia pink if you can.
- Lastly, slay like you know your outfit is the bomb.
Because I adore this combination, I have a few more outfits with this colour palette, and I can’t wait to show you.
