I love to travel but if there’s one thing I dread, it’s trying to pack everything I need into my hand luggage. When I went to Malta, I really had to restrain myself from throwing everything into my bag. There’s always a fear you’ll leave something crucial behind, but there’s also nothing worse than having to lug a heavy bag or suitcase around.
To avoid this, I’ve come up with three travel suggestions to make the process a little easier. Good luck and happy packing!
- Multi-purpose clothing: Being on holiday is about relaxing and enjoying the perks of a hassle-free experience. Why not kill two birds with one stone by picking clothes that are perfect items to transition between night and day? Spend less time changing, and more time strolling. Special mention goes out to the sarong: it’s a changing room, blanket, towel, scarf, and even a skirt. Who says imagination isn’t everything ?
- Wearing is not carrying so if you find yourself in a tight fix with baggage that’s overweight: layer up, fill your pockets and smile your way through check in.
- Three is the magic number. If you’re really tight for space, pack three of everything. Wear one, wash one and dry. As long as you maintain this trilogy, you’ll have enough of everything to last. Light fabrics are your best friend because they are easier to wash, dry quicker and you can always layer up.
