Since I’ve been getting consumed by summer drinks I have neglected beauty, but there are a few gems I’ve been trying and just needed to share. Like the Zoeva brushes! OK, I’m late to the party on this, but the quality is fantastic. Soft enough to put you to sleep, but durable enough blend through eye shadow with ease. What I liked most are that they are natural and synthetic bristle brushes work incredibly well on cream, powder, and gel products, ah and not to mention any make-up addict’s dream they have a super quick drying time after washing.
I trialled 4 Zoeva brushes from the range which were the 221, 223, 226, and 229; I’m already eyeing the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury collection.
I know everyone has down a Zoeva brushes review, but I wanted share why I love these 4 as opposed the whole set.
221: I love using this brush when I’m creating a smoky eye or when I’m creating a gradient between 2 colours seamlessly. The bristles are soft, to rid any harsh lines.
223: Since my eyes are relatively small, finding a brush small enough to fit into the crease of my eye. Also if your crease is a little low you can always move it higher slightly higher, and this brush is the perfect size to do that without your eye lids looking muddy.
226: When creating your smoky eye, its very easy to so from glam to panda eyes in minutes simply from not using the right brush on the lash line to smudge out either the eye shadow powders or kohl eye-liner, I found with almost one blend I had to smoky seductive look.
229: I use the Eye Finish Brush mainly for blending as it’s extra fluffy crease brush which I’ve used to sheer out cream, pressed and loose powder eye shadow. It gives me an evenly blended look.
