 That's correct, £83,000 not much right! If Models Own ever did blushes how much do you think that would be, £10,000? Yes, I agree with you very affordable in this climate.

Dont get yourself in a muddle trying to rush out and get this nail varnish, Gold Rush is being made strictly to order and  its only been showcased at Frost of London  and been named as the most expensive nail polish Models Own will be releasing Gold Rush Ready to Wear in Boots on 23rd February 2011 for a more realistic £5.

So Why does it cost so much?

At £83,000, Gold Rush is no ordinary nail polish.  When painted on the nails it looks like gold leaf – it glistens and glimmers and actually sparkles as if it contains tiny diamonds, yet is absolutely smooth to the touch.  The exquisite gold lid is hand-crafted from a solid ingot of yellow gold, and weighs nearly 4 ounces. A total of 1,118 diamonds have been precisely inset weighing over 14 carats of 'collection' VVS quality and colours D, E and F.  Long lasting and easy to apply, the weight of the gold and diamond encrusted lid makes nail painting a doddle – even after a few glasses of Cristal.

BEAUTY EVENT: IMATS LONDON 2011

IMATS (International Makeup Artist Trade Show)  is back on London soil on 29th and 30th January, less than two months away.  Headlining the show is makeup effects designer for Harry Potter, is Nick Dudman. I have never been to the IMATS before, so I'll be going with a load of cash to splurge on makeup.

We should be expecting brands like Ben Nye, Makeup For Ever (MUFE), MAC Pro, and of couse the infamous Crown Brushes and many more. From what I've heard from other bloggers brands offer some really cool discounts!

If you into learning new techniques and discovering brands that you wouldn't in Department stores, then IMATS is th place to be.

FAVE 'FUMES: BALENCIAGA PARIS FRAGRANCE

I haven't done a fave fume post in yonks. Sorry! The fragrange that has stolen my heart at the moment is the Balenciaga Paris fragrance.

Following the success of Nicolas Ghesquierè first fragrance, this one is a purse spray. Of course it had to notes from the original, such as chype violet. it would would be a Balenciaga fragrance if it didn't have that note.

It bottled in a luxury glass prism, making it easy to hold, Its definately a hand bag size, espcially with the little velvet pouch it comes with so your car keys dont scratch the bottle.

the scent is soft and fresh and watery,  It starts soft and fresh and watery, and if that sounds like something I’d hate, I’ll add that there’s no Glade and no melon, although it is rather fruity in the very early stages. It’s also slightly metallic in the opening, and slightly powdery throughout. What does it smell like? Well, like a very soft violet, mostly. Even though there’s no Glade and no melon, it is rather fruity at the first whiff. It’s also and slightly powdery throughout, you probably know by now that I love powdery notes lol. 

Wearing this fragrance will make you feel elegant, classy, and sophisticated, everything a women should be anyway!

Top Notes: Violet leaves, 

Middle Notes: Rose and Violet

Base Notes: cedar and patchouli

BEAUTY NEWS: MAC AND NICKI MINAJ PINK FRIDAY IN THE UK

Ok so obviously you know that Nicki Minaj is one of the most talked about female rapper's at the moment right?  Ms Minaj has scored herself a deal with popular make up brand MAC.

The collaboration with MAC is obviously promoting her new album Pink Friday. The buzz around the Friday is that from Friday (this Friday) the pink lipstick will only be sold on Fridays and the following Fridays til December 17th, ladies your going to have to be quick on Pink Friday as its a limited edition.

SKINCARE: PEAR FACIALS COMBAT DRY SKIN!

                                    

Yup you read right! Didn't you know you can use pear as a facial. I guess you learn something new everyday right. For my dry skin brothers and sisters out there, Pear is a great way to get to combat dry skin. As Pears are a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin C, copper, and vitamin K, they do wonders for your skin. oh not forgetting they also have antioxidants, which help to repair damage done by free radicals, ok this post wasn't meant to be a lesson on scientific understand of a pear, but its good to know this stuff! Normally one would do this at the begin of the autumn season, as my skin has a mind of its own. I find that if I don't prepare my skin for the autumn and winter months, my skin will feel like I have climbed Mount Everest, no joke!

Just so you have an idea of how dry my skin, every morning my lips have a brand new layer of skin under it, seriously I mean every day especially in the winter, which means lip treatment are close to my heart, or lips in that matter especially in the winter months. If I don't then I'll just be walking around with 100 years of dry dead skin on my lips, sounds disgusting right?

Ok, back to the facial, so how do I do this facial then I hear you ask!

                                        

Pear Facial Mask

1 ripe pear

½ teaspoon of honey

1 tablespoon of heavy cream

Start by peeling and coring the pear. Cut the pear into small pieces and place them in a small dish. Using a fork, mash the pear fruit into a smooth paste. Next, add the honey and heavy cream. Spread the mixture evenly over the skin on the face and neck. Let it sit on the skin for 15 minutes and then rinse the pear facial mask off with warm water. Follow up with a splash of cool water and pat dry with a clean towel.

I can't promise you Beyonce's beautiful skin, but will help your skin in the winter months if done regularly. If you have oily skin then replace pear with strawberries!

SKIN CARE: SANCTUARY SPA DEEP CLEANSE FACIAL

You wont beleive me, if I told you this but, I have never used a toner...EVER.

In the winter, I find that my hyperpigmentation is more visable in the winter, I dont why, so I have decided to try out this Sanctuary Spa Deep Cleanse Facial as I have used the 5 minute Thermal Detox Mask, which is sooo amazing, so I thought hey why dont I try the range.

Pinch Punch first of the month no return :P   Its been collaboration galore here on Wande's World!Wah Nails are colloborating Models Own to create nail art pens  I have to say this was kinda expected for me as the WAH Naills Blog always features Models Own nail polish on thier blogs with beautiful intricate designs on their customers.

Lipglossipping.com stated that tutorials on how to use the pens are need, and I so agree. If not, my nail will just have a blob of colour and not an actual design.
